Over $500 million in the United States is expended annually in the United States towards programs dedicated to encourage students to study engineering yet enrollment in engineering has not changed significantly and in fact enrollment of underrepresented minorities are in a decline with few exceptions. The enhancement of STEM/engineering work force in the USA can be immediately achieved by fostering a sustainable education program for underrepresented students now in college and K-12
