(637e) One-Pot Synthesis of Gold Nano/Micro Structures in PEG-SDS Solution

In PEG-SDS solution, nano/micro gold particles were synthesized through a one-pot route at atmosphere. Gold nanoplates were the dominant products at 25^oC, the size of which increased from 500 nm to 1µm as the concentration of HAuCl₄ ranges from 0.2 mM to 1.0 mM. When the reaction temperature was ranges from 15^oC to 60^oC, the products were quasi-spheres (15^oC), nanoplates (25^oC), and irregular plates (40^oC and 60^oC),respectively.
