Different techniques for managing innovation are better suited in different environments, and the tools used in one will not necessarily be helpful in another. The strategy for protecting innovation will also change depending on the size of the company and the area of technology. The presentation will highlight different strategies of innovation protection. This presentation will then focus on different techniques used in companies ranging from the corporate giant through the entrepreneurial start-up, why those techniques are best suited for that particular environment and identify best practices for marketing, legal and research and development departments working together. The presentation will also discuss different products on the market which assist companies in managing innovation, weighing new ideas and analyzing patents.
