However, the hydrophobic nature of some of these ligands results in difficulties in immobilizing the ligands to hydrophilic matric. The reserach concentrates on immobilizing hydrophobic peptides to hydrophilic matrices through the introduction of preconcentration effects by incorporating polyethylene glycol linkers.
