2008 Annual Meeting

Session: New Materials for Inorganic Contaminants

This session is a venue to present most advanced chemicals and materials engineering research that deals with the development of new generation materials that demonstrate significantly higher efficiencies in removing trace contaminants in waters. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the use of reactive and non-reactive membranes synthesized with monolayer and multilayer assemblies of nano-particulates, nano-porous, nano-crystalline, and nano-composite materials for sorption, filtration, sensors, and oxidation-reduction processes.
