2008 Annual Meeting
Session: Advances In Cell Culture I
Cell culture has advanced to a great extent with production of recombinant proteins in g/l quantities at 10,000 L scale and beyond becoming routine. In addition, developments such as the cell culture based flu vaccine promises more advances to come in the vaccine arena. Fundamental improvements in all steps from vector construction/transfection, cell line development, media development, bioreactor operation & process control, scale-up, etc have been key for these advances and studies in these areas are within scope and welcome for this session.
