Enterprise-wide management of environmental information is critical to companies such as International Specialty Products (ISP) that operate facilities worldwide. An effective and efficient environmental management system (EMS) benefits facility compliance engineers, as well as corporate planners and managers. This paper explores the development of an EMS from conception through implementation planning and deployment, based on ISP's experience.
