Augmentation of mass transfer rates becomes imperative for any process intensification. Limiting current data for forced convection flow of electrolyte through the conduit with orifice-disc assembly as turbulence promoter were obtained. The effect of geometric parameters like orifice diameter, disc diameter, and height of the disc from orifice was studied. Augmentation in mass transfer coefficients were found to vary from 2 to 50 fold depending upon flow rate and geometric parameters. Mass transfer coefficient increased with increase in disc diameter, decreased with increase in orifice diameter and orifice-disc distance. A correlation for mass transfer in terms of geometric parameters was developed and presented as JD = 2.41Re-0.40 (DO/D)-0.64 (Dd/D)0.86 (H/D)-0.72
