It os our study that the energy-saving type of flat heater uses the proper qualities which is lublication, heat resisting property, corrosion resistance, electric conductivity, heat conductivity and processing. It was coated the slurry which is combined graphite and metal paste with epoxy resin on PET film. Also The exothermic characteristics of flat heating element prepared like this were studied with the variety of power source and geometries, coating thicness from 0.13mmto 0.76mm,width of 100mm and length 0f 5mm.The temperature increase with increasing power supply. In the results of applied experiments to prevent freezing the surface of road in winter season, the flat heater prepared were exellent perfomance to sustainable higher temperature than 5 oC in condition of -10oC atmosphere. Also effect of energy-saving was undoubtedly.
