(378a) Clean Water Act Update

This presentation will provide a summary of all recent material developments under the Clean Water Act and interpreting case law most critical to attendees. Specifically, the presenter will summarize the most recent regulation and court cases adressing when a discharge permit is actually required pursuant to the Clean Water Act considering the pollutants and the receiving water body, and the permissible scope of provisions providing permit exclusions. Additionally, the presenter will review the recent developments in wetlands permitting and the Corps of Engineers nationwide wetlands permit program.
