We invite contributions addressing the supramolecular self-assembly of nanoscale materials concentrating on the following two sessions. Session I centers on the directed self-assembly of nanoscale building blocks using controlled biological, biomolecular, and molecular interactions, while Session II focuses on the templated assembly of nanostructured inorganic materials such as silica, alumina, metal and metal oxides. Session I seeks contributions including but not limited to Click-chemistry, molecular linker-chemistry and DNA directed assembly. Experimental and theoretical work investigating mechanisms leading to self-assembled structures is especially welcome. The session also invites contributions addressing mechanical stability and thermal as well as electrical transport properties of such structures.
