(392b) Continuous Centrifugation of Adenovirus Infected Cell Culture Lysates

Continuous centrifugation was evaluated as a clarification option for large-scale purification of adenovirus from detergent-precipitated cell culture lysates. When compared to depth filtration alone, centrifugation followed by polishing depth filtration provided comparable clarification with benefits of contained processing, automated operation, and a potential increase in process robustness.
