(24a) A New Pulverized Biomass Ulitization Technology

It was my great honor to be selected as the 2005 Flour Daniel Lectureship Award Winner. However, my past activities were not introduced and my recent activities to develop new utilization process of finely pulverized biomass was demonstrated. In this process, water slurry of fine bioamass powder was hydro thermally treated under high temperature saturated condition. More than half mass of biomass was liquefied as water soluble saccharides and their related materials. Remained solid biomass was upgraded high heating value fuel similar to the young bituminous coal.
