(158b) Biomimetic Approaches to Biomaterials Design
A common theme in bioengineering is to modify the biomaterial surface to interact selectively with cell types through biomolecular recognition events. This tutorial will discuss a promising approach where biomimetic peptides are used as building blocks for biomaterials functionalization.
